When I trade I don't put a lot of money into one stock.
I may put $250 into a penny stock. HarrisDirect charges $20 so I'm already $40 (or more than 15%)in the red as soon as I buy.
Lowtrades.com only charges $5.00 so if I were to use them, I would only start out $10.00 (or less than 5%) in the hole.
