Agreed. Lead-acid is the incumbent in most of the EV industry today, as it is in the other markets I mentioned. The question is whether this market will grow or not. GM is in the process of destroying a bunch of their EV1s and Ford just axed the Th!nk group. And hybrids currently are using NiMH.
I'm just not confident that the EV market is one that you can currently build a business around. My concerns in this area relate to PWTC because of how often EVs are mentioned in press releases by the company to the exclusion of other markets.
