BETHPAGE, NY – January 4, 2005 – Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE: CVC) today announced that here!, a precedent-setting television destination dedicated to serving the country's gay and lesbian audience, is now available to iO: Interactive Optimum ® digital cable customers as a subscription video on demand (SVOD) service for an additional $6.95 per month . here! on demand provides a wide range of programming including original feature-length films, biographies and variety shows.

here! on demand becomes iO's eighth SVOD service, joining existing packages from HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Anime Network, Disney Channel, IFC and Playboy, part of iO's on demand programming category that today features more than 1,200 titles available to iO customers at all times. Unlike individual movies, SVOD services are comprehensive packages that allow customer to view a library of VOD content from a specific programmer on an unlimited basis for a flat monthly fee.

Subscribers to here! on demand receive 30 hours of refreshed content every month, which includes original movie premieres, talk and lifestyle series, biographies, classic gay cinema and musicals, and variety shows featuring celebrities such as Judy Garland and Cher.

With more than 1.3 million iO customers as of September 30, 45 percent of Cablevision's cable customers are iO digital cable customers, a digital penetration rate that leads the cable industry. iO offers customers access to more than 200 channels, including 50 premium movie channels, 45 channels of commercial-free digital music, more than 1,200 titles available on demand at all times, an interactive programming guide, 16 high-definition programming services and groundbreaking interactive television applications including subscription games packages.
