Is anybody curious about what happened to Rusty Szurek?
I lifted the following from an RB post....
(PRWEB) February 7 2004--TicketsGuru.com is proud to announce the launch of its web site. Started by Ragingbull.com (a financial community web site) co-founder, Rusty Szurek, TicketsGuru.com is a collection of the Internet’s most popular event-related auctions. The site is part of the SavingsGuru.com Network.
Szurek started the SavingsGuru.com Network because he was frustrated with the large number of Internet auctions running simultaneously. “With millions of auctions, I wasn’t sure where to start in the online auction world. I was always curious as to what some of the most frequent items listed were so I knew what to try and sell on eBay.”
TicketsGuru.com he says focuses on the most popular ticket and event-related market of which he has a particular affinity. “I went to a U2 concert in Ireland after buying a ticket on eBay. I picked up the ticket while in Ireland at a bank. Without eBay and the Internet I would have never been able to enjoy one of the best concerts in my life. Other folks should have the same opportunity.”
He hopes that his web site will help sellers better determine what to tickets to list and at what price as well as help buyers find what they are looking for. “There is the Lycos 50 and the Yahoo Buzz meter. We’re trying to create the same thing for online auctions, in this case tickets.”
