Chart Reader,

You think you got problems with phone calls---

I am trying to trade in between running to the window and trying to hold off an army of birds that have apparently built a nest in a vent right above my window in the dump I live in.

I tried a spray bottle with Chlorox and also ammonia,
then changed to a tin can filled with it, throwing it up and sideways onto the the opening they keep attacking.

I can't say much for their manliness; they drop the berries or worms they carry in their mouths and shriek like females as they turn tail when they see me.

I could use some advice on the problem---but NOT from any birdlovers, please.

My problem is that the ammonia dissipates after a while and they come back. The vent is to far out of reach for me to reach it and put some wire in it that would solve the problem. There is always the danger that I could get too enthusiastic and lean too far out the window and fall out (4th floor, concrete below).

As for TZA, I took 60 cents on it.

Please keep giving any pointers, as I am running to the local dollar store constantly to get more ammonia, etc. and it costs a dollar each time.
