Just got a return call from Wayne King 6 minutes ago
I called Mop this morning trying to get in touch with someone to speak to and the receptionist told me that they were only accepting emails(since they are inumdated with calls) and to email Wayne King.
So,continuing my DD,I came across the NPS(National Park Service)site mentioning that vendors(for cleanup, etc) could contact them at such and such a #.I copied the link and wrote Wayne King an email with the link(explaining the link)and also, telling him I was a shareholder and wanted to help MOP in any way and I gave my number.I also mentioned that a lot of shareholders were anxiously waiting another PR detailing the latest MOP activities regarding orders, etc.
Anyways, much to my surprise, about an hour after the close of the market.....I got a call from Wayne King.I guess he thought I was from the NPS and asked if I could get ahold of the NOAA,as they have banned(temporarily) loose cleanup materials(according to Wayne).I told him that I wasn't assoicated with NOAA and he saw his error. Then,I asked him about the operations and Mop's progress of getting orders. He said that they are still "working on them".I then asked him if MOP had anyone at the spill's "ground zero" and he said that there were two people deployed there to work the situation for MOP.I mentioned that,in regards to the loose MOP product, that I felt that(from my listening to the news)the loose material was less of immediate importance than booms.....as I had grocked from all the media reports, etc that "booms" were the key at the moment. He acknowledged that but is working it all.I told him that investors are hungry for updates and asked if there would be any press releases soon.He said that he would expect something this week.I thanked him and :end of conversation.
I would encourage EVERYONE to put the heat on this operation. There can be only good come out of that kind of pressure. They are not fielding phone calls, but only receiving emails and that shouldn't cause any distraction, but should actually give them the impetus to move with urgency if their shareholder base is making demands on their action. If they are doing all they can, then no harm done.If they aren't,then it'll make the point clear and force them into crossing over beyond their "comfort zone".
Just my opinion, but I also know people!!!
