Last year, HGSI was my best long term performer. I sold all of it for a while now, since the performance of its anti-lupus drug was scored by “subjective assessments”. And…today:
“April 20 (Reuters) - Human Genome Sciences Inc and partner GlaxoSmithKline Plc (said their experimental lupus drug Benlysta failed to achieve statistical significance on secondary goals in a late-stage trial.
Although, the drug in combination with standard therapies showed higher response rates, it compared with a dummy drug and standard treatments failed to reach statistical significance, which was the secondary goal of the study.”
The company’s CEO tries to spin it, but news are bad. Distribution should follow. The manipulators will probably take it back up soon, so that they can sell…That should be the moment to shoot it. Target is now 25.
