Look I'm sure everyone is going to jump all over me for this...BUT...this is not a Comcast contract, so please do not portray it as one, its a single market for a single show so far...already late as someone else pointed out.

Read this over before you start to complain, try to have a little bit of the wider view.

Syndication is a double edge...it raises exposure and awareness but it also dilutes the overall product, which is QTV, which is what we invested in. Remember I said in previous posts with the Gay Games Frank may try to split things into a production company and a TV station, not that is a bad thing, but its a portion of what is happening. We all expected Syndication, but not in the US Market since it diluted the value of Q as a TV Station. HBO/Showtime are made based on single shows people want to watch. We sub to HBO for The Soprano's, and thats pretty much it, same with Showtime for The L Word....if one of Q's premier shows is in syndication it may effect viewship and subscriber interest. I know if I could view either one of those shows on a 'free' channel, in its original format we wouldn't sub to HBO or Showtime. I would not watch edited versions, if they were edited at all I'd still sub to see the original content.

I got into this, made my investment, based on .10 PPS, which would be the value at which Frank says the company is worth, and as a national TV Station I think this is a no brainer.

Syndicating a few shows is not going to get us anywhere near this.

Don't give me the basher BS either, we're all looking at .10 PPS, some beyond but I think their wishful.

What makes me wonder is, how is Comcast going to show this show? What channel will it be on? What content are they cutting?

On the other side, Frank may not have had a choice...he could not get a carrier contract so he went with the next best thing hoping to draw more in and get a carrier contract, if thats the case, he is making the best business he can.

I'd like to know more details, of course :)

Is Seattle a test market? Is Comcast in Seattle part of the major corporate structure or some type of Franchise? That is important because the Comcast in Seattle may not be Comcast national, kind of like the situation with the TW fishing contract.

Before I start jumping up and down I'd like to know these answers...

BTW, if you feel I'm just bashing or anything else along those lines lets see what the PPS has to say about it. This could go either way, its a honest look at both sides of the coin.

A real carrier contract would send this soaring over .01 and probably beyond because it would indicate realization of value of the company.

I don't care what makes the PPS go up, as long as it goes up, guess we'll find out tommorow morning.

If you all think this is bashing and not simple common sense then your putting way too many hopes into QBID. I'd be just as excited as everyone else, when there is a national carrier contract.
