Here is a little free education for you.

As Moderator, it is not my role to keep up with the day to day activities of the company. My role is simply defined in the iHub TOS.

the mod is essentially an umpire of the board. Umpires have to remain neutral or they won't last long. Same holds true for mods.

Let's put it this way. They need to moderate in a neutral manner but they can express their investment sentiment in their posts.

http://ihwiki.stocksite.com/index.php?title=Handbook#About_Message_Boards_and_the_Moderators.27_Role

"Board Moderators are entitled and encouraged to express their investment sentiment in the same manner as any other Member; by participating in the dialog. However; insofar as their Moderator privileges are concerned, it is not the Moderators’ role to promote bullish or bearish sentiment, to guide the "tone" of the content along any particular investment sentiment, or to favor one investment sentiment over another.
