Hi... I am new to this board...checking out some of the boards and sticking my opinion in..

Please note the keyword is opinion...

First of all...let me start by saying I do not have a position in this company...

For my long term pick ...I would pick Sempra (SRE. I think this company is a gem right now..it is filling in alot of gaps that were left by the collapse of dynegy and enron in the gas side of the business... the are building LNG revaporization plants in the U.S. - that does not even take into account thier electrical retail business...

With a PE of about 10- this company is ready to go for a 200% appreciation within 2 years...when they start selling the gas from their LNG revaporization plants... watch out... they will be in acquisition mode and have the cash to do it...if you were to buy this stock and hold it for 5 years... i think you could actually see an 4x increase in this stock....i think if you held it for 15 years...it would make you smile....i never had that kind of patience...but this is one stock that you should have patience with.

That said... I am not a financial professional...a royal amatuer..so take this post for what its worth...a free opinion...do your own dd before you take my opinion which was free....
:)
