I spent about 5 hrs digging into the history of ZVTK last night. The more I read about ZVTK the more I am convinced that we will be successful in the nearby future. There seem to be lot of suggestion by some poster here (especially our mod) about lack of potential of ZVTK due to its past. They point out the unsuccessful launch of the ionic bulb two tears ago. They said that it didn't sell in walgreen and cvs etc. Is this true? Yes, if you just look at the filings. Yes, if you just only read in black and white. But what is not written was how ZVTK conduct its business in the first few years. It doesn't tell you the inexperience of a new CEO taking over a struggling company. It doesn't tell you about the way in which the products was introduce into mainstream. Well, I would like to offer you my opinion of why the ionic bulb was not a hit and why we should disregard the past.
ZVTK was a part of DCFF (Diet Coffee). A company with many issues. In 2007 DCBB wanted to bring this new innovative product to the market. They wanted to become the world leading distributer. They contract with Walgreen and CVS to carry this product. These product was sold in many of the walgreen and cvs across the US. Sales was steady but ZVTK did not take off. A few reason why it did not take off. 1st the company did not take the right path in it launch. They took the product from a warehouse directly into walgreen shelves without intrucing to the people. They expected people just walk into walgreen and buy this product without knowing what it was. They did not even have a working website. They did have a 2 minute ad but could only be view on the as seen on tv site. Secondly, they did not keep the walgreen and cvs shelves full. many store was not relenish once stocks sold out. Perhaps they did not have the supply or sales was not enough to justify a reorder. We dodn't know for sure. And lastly, ZVTK did not do what a good company should do. They did not keep their investors informed. Sometime no PR for 3 months. They were always late with filings. They really did not follow up with what was stated. They did not air the ad like they said they would. They failed.
FAST FORWARD: November 2009. What have they learn from 2007 to 2009? Alot. First they learn that you must keep the investors inform and interest. Weekly pr...not every other 100 days. Do what you say you will do. They have done that. They got the site up and running. Established calling center. Ramp up invetories. Launch a national campain. Announce to the world that you gave something spectacular to offer. Once everyone know then put it in every walgreen cvs walmart or what ever retailer you can get your hand on. Let the people walk into these place and say "hey I have seen that on tv" How the hell you going to sell a as seen on tv products that has never been seen on tv?
There is no rush right now to get into retail stores. Do more ads. Get this bulb into every one head from tv ads. ZVTK is on the right track. They have learned from the past and will soon be very successful. Thanks for taking the time to read my opinion on why I think ZVTK investors will soon be rewarded. I leave you with a few things to ponder.
