OK, let me see if I have this right. You don't use actual stops, you instead use "mental" stops. Your current "mental' stop is $19. Fine, so far. Then you say that if the stock hits $19, you are going to stop loss (ie: sell). Then, you say you "would aggressively buy back though if I stopped out, as I believe AMD is a long term screaming buy."

You pay commission both ways to end up where you started.
