"Unusual" the wrong word:


My post caption was not artfully framed.

What I was trying to impart but failed, is that the Chinese media does not send any message that is not part of a larger framework.

The message being sent via the China Daily and virtually every other venue is the desperate need for energy expansion by China.

Clearly, they are right. That need exists in spades.

Setting the stage for action prior to taking action is standard in any police state.

It remains to be seen, of course, what that action turns out to be.
