Give me a break. What's wrong with surveying shelf space for proper placement of "New" products. Marketing 101.

Why would someone survey or examine space? You might survey or examine the shelves looking for space. It's not an esoteric application of the word, it's just wrong.

Break this, Wyatt, err...Shagala. It's wrong. Deal with it. Don't stick up for things that are wrong and you'll get a break.
