The concept is a good idea - its execution is poor. This service will only work if people can get new releases when they want them. Buying the necessary amount of videos/games is too expensive to do that under the current system. The whole concept of needing distribution centres is flawed - that's why all the companies in this industry are failing. Well Hamburger, 'what is a company to do', you ask?

Everybody has heard of the smartchips that are used by Wal-Mart etc. to track inventory, correct? With a little bit of R&D, a similar chip could be used to track shipping of videos and games... example:

Instead of using envelopes to ship games, GZFX could use a small box with a smartchip that can be scanned by the USPS for a mailing address. GZFX could use software that minimizes shipping distances to determine who receives the video next...

How it works - person X receives a video..watches it... puts it back into the envelope with the smartchip and puts it in the mail. When it is scanned by the USPS, the GZFX software automatically updates it with the address of the next viewer. No distribution centres are needed and shipping/wait times have been cut by more than half.
