The maps I have seen shows them drilling into the very top of those uplifts. Like the 3D side view of Kina, in the I-Box, of that target. The bottom zone that is marked shows about 1400 ft. of uplift.
In the target map, in the I-Box, it shows Kina to be about 1 1/4 miles wide and about 5 miles long. So that anticline that goes to the right may be 3/4 of a mile to the bottom where it levels out.
If they are drilling the tops of these traps and if they are finding gas, as some here say, the only way I know to find out if there is oil or condensate in the lower part of that anticline is to 1) move over and drill more holes to hit the zone at a lower point or 2) drill laterals off the hole they already have, at an angle and stay in that zone.
