I would imagine that if people put up investment money to fund a new company that they would expect, want and get benefit from owning that new company. But exactly how it is structured we just don't know yet. I just saw a company spin off, sale a part of the original company into a new one. The new company shares were distributed to the shareholders of the existing company so those shareholders will benefit from the new company's growth. Couldn't something like that happen here?
