Well I'm not sure that you are wrong but I think he makes the point that when you are putting out a press release every time you go to the bathroom and then you don't put one out for an intended reverse-split, you are acting in bad faith. And they did not announce the split on 12/4 they only informed the SEC. In fact, they NEVER announced the reverse split. He bought the stock after the SEC filing based on "good" press releases. He sold the stock after the split. If informing the SEC is all that is expected, then why put out any press releases at all? I think the point is that you cannot just announce the good, you also have to give the bad the same treatment. I think the better question is, why not announce the reverse split and stay above-board?

Anyway, Sharp is far too good at this and I would NEVER bet against him.
