sovereign card services offerings:
Sub Accounts
By opening a Sub Account, you gain a cost-effective way to move money instantly, nationally or internationally, without expensive money transfer fees. A Sovereign account holder can open a Sub-Account online by calling customer care. Once you receive your sub-account card by mail, give it to the new cardholder, and instruct them to activate the card either online or by phone (to choose a PIN). After that, you can transfer funds to the sub or joint account online, by phone, or through Skylight Customer Care. Your second cardholder can access the funds at any participating ATM.

Joint Account
It is also easy to make your Sovereign account a joint account with someone else. To do this, simply call Customer Care and request a joint account form. You’ll need to have the joint owner fully complete this form. It is faxed or mailed to Sovereign. Once received, a card is created and mailed to you to give to your joint account holder. The new card will need to be activated either online or by phone. Once active, the joint accountholder’s card will access all funds in the primary account. Joint owners a mutually responsible for all funds in account.

Bill Pay
Depending on the type of card you have, you have multiple options when paying your bills. If you have a card without a Visa logo, you can: Contact your mortgage holder, the holder of your car loan, or any other company to which you pay the same amount each month and tell them you want to set-up a direct debit to your account. You will need to provide them with the Skylight routing number and your account or card number. Then on a monthly basis, the company will send a monthly debit to your account to collect money for your bill. Contact the company to whom you owe money and ask if they will send a one-time (single instance) debit to pay your bill. In this case, you would need to remember to call them each month to give them permission to debit your account for what you owe. If you have a card with a Visa logo, click the Visa logo at right to get a list of companies that accept Visa as a method to pay your bill, either one-time or on a recurring basis.
