Hi Tab,

I think you got it pretty good. XDEV will IMHO indeed always "beat" AIM if you look at "raw" performance.
But even though XDEV started off with an AIM background, it has evolved to become a whole different "beast".
To put it blunt:
AIM is a money management tool.
XDEV is a traders tool.

You can AIM a fund and go on holiday, you cannot XDEV a stock and take a day off. (Yes I am exaggerating, but not by much!)

I like both of them, and will probably keep using both of them. Correction: I have not yet started using XDEV, but I will.
