the doe has to approve their loan guarantee, they've already been scammed 100 mil/gals/yr in their forecast. if they can't get somebody started making cellulosic biofuel current political policy regarding alternative fuel implodes, it's a huge disaster for the obama administration. vrnm is closer than anyone else to bringing commercial production on line.

if vrnm does not see at least a 50% appreciation in share price after doe announcement then they have made a mistake enacting the r/s pre doe. we have seen a number of times this summer 50% jumps on less consequential news. i don't believe the r/s was a requirement, there are many companies in cellulosic pursuit seeking doe funding that are penny funds, that's a reflection of the uncertainty of the business.
