UGHO was nice, but unfortunately, I missed it.

ISON released a very interesting PR recently, and may run up like LENF and UGHO. The stock should react very well once they do the prototype demo in OCT. to NATO. I am still accumulating as I only have a small number of shares so far. I was looking to load up under $1.20, but it looks as though I may have to revise that since it is already mid-Sept.

Homeland Security Goes Foreign Through NATO
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 08, 2004 2:32 PM

GOLDEN, CO, Sep. 08, 2004 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- AXcess News (www.axcessnews.com) released a story covering homeland security stocks that rose following news released earlier today by Isonics Corp. (ISON) .

What caused the stir was an announcement released at the opening bell by Isonics after it said its handheld explosive detection instrument, NeutroTest, would be available in prototype in October. Isonics said in its release that it would be presenting a paper at the NATO seminar in Madrid in October on explosive detection. AXcess News expects Isonics to debut its NeutroTest instrument at that seminar.

Briefing.com featured that news while Isonics share volume bolted to over 1.3 million shares by 12:20pm ET Wednesday.

NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, was formed in 1949 by a coalition of 26 countries to safeguard the security of its member nations through political -- and military means.

While NATO's role is to safeguard member nations, global terrorism has put demands on NATO to do more.

Isonics President, James Alexander, was quoted in that earlier news as saying, "We are pleased to announce that our recent business and technical review in Berlin, Germany, on the NeutroTest prototype was favorable and encouraging. We've set development milestones for the next two months and are on track to have the prototype available in October."

European interests have been on the rise for the Golden, Colorado-based company's bomb detection instrument following its presentation in Berlin, Germany. German authorities have few options available, with Isonics' nearest competitor offering a bulky device that fits in a cargo van and costs over $500,000. Alexander told AXcess News in a previous interview that Isonics' device would cost far less and fit in a brief case, making its applications much broader. Wednesday's news that its prototype would be made available meant that sales would soon follow and that spurred investors who follow homeland security stocks.

Other homeland security stocks were buoyed by Isonics news, with Armour Holdings up 11 cents at $36.77, Identix up 14 cents at $5.93, OSI Systems up 11 cents at $15.69, Zebra Technologies up 34 cents at $58.09, Viisage Technology up 9 cents at $6.77 and Symantec Corp up 18 cents at $48.99. Invision Technologies and Check Point Software were the only two homeland security stocks that investors left behind with Invision off $1.50 at $45.62 and Check Point off 16 cents at $17.64.

More news on the investment horizon for the homeland security sector can be found at AXcess News: http://www.axcessnews.com. This is an excerpt from the complete story.
