The Credit Suisse analysts also adjusted their estimate for SunTrust Banks Inc. , saying the dilution of additional shares and lower realized gains will negatively affect the bottom line.

The analysts now expect the bank to report a loss of 51 cents a share, down from a gain of 2 cents a share. The revision comes more in line with the average consensus of a loss of 63 cents a share, according to analysts polled by Thompson Reuters.

Shares of SunTrust added about 4%.
