For all the MD haters out there, you must give him some credit for knowing where to drill. He may not be very experienced in Mill construction (or at least he wasn't), but he does seem to know his rocks. I've researched historic mining operations in this area and many companies have thought there was ore there but gave up after not finding it after they drilled a few holes.
