gernb1 - I'm a netflix customer and think it's a great service - however, imagine where instead of selecting a movie to add to your queue, and having it arrive in a couple of days, you get home, select what movie you want to see that evening, begin downloading in Divx, and by the time you're done with dinner, you're ready to burn the divx file onto a CD and play it back on your Divx/edig set-top box THAT EVENING. The file could probably be encoded to play not more than twice (or with some other drm scheme) to satisfy film industry concerns.
