Hard to know what to make of this chart, but the information seems specific, credible, and recent (5/30/2002?)

Looks like Banias will come in three versions, Banias, Banias LV, and Banias ULV, just like the mobile PIIIs. Certainly the specs are better than PIIIMs, but nothing special. Looks like SpeedStep will be used again in the new chip.

So, TMTA is developing a revolutionary 256-bit chip with unheard of power/performance parameters, and INTC is tweaking a PIII and announcing it as revolutionary.
