My friend - The only reason I mentioned the ballot box is because you used it to add credence to your lame argument. You said, "I am not alone; it has been roundly discredited by most respectable market theoreticians." The ballot box was your argument because you appealed to it.
I suppose the only thing upon which we will ever agree is our socialist President.
I simply believe that the behavior of human beings is both observable and systematic. It being systematic it can be predicted. It is irrelevant whether human behavior is rational or irrational. The markets are always right because they reflect the mood of human beings be they rational or irrational. Nothing that I know of is a greater observable reflection of the mood of human beings than the stock market.
I understand your need to believe in chaos because that belief is necessary to a disbelief in God. In fact, it is the only alternative.
