SO interesting!

If you care about the energy future, watch this video. Look what Germany and
Spain are doing and what we could be doing in this country. Fantastic!

A few points it makes .....

Currently and up to now, we've been "hunter-gatherers" of energy.
The revolution in solar energy will obsolete fossil and nuclear production
of energy and will usher in the age of becoming "harvesters" of energy,
not unlike the revolution in food production 10K years ago (with
apologies to those Bible literalists who believe the earth is 6K years
old. smile

The solar revolution is starting in Germany and spreading to Spain, thanks
to Reagan and all his successors being cozy with big oil people and
keeping the US in the stone-age of energy production. And it was started
by a Socialist in Germany (he's interviewed on the video) that turned his
sights to the future.

The so-called energy experts who consistently have panned solar energy
are all wrong mostly because they're in the pockets of the fossil and
Nuclear companies. They don't want a solar solution and so make up stuff
against solar.

A small amount of Sahara Desert (compared to the entire size) covered
with solar cells could theoretically supply the electricity used by the
entire world now.

They're planning to build small solar collectors in northern Africa
and ship the power to Europe. The generation of it in Africa will also
power desalinization plants to solve their water problem as well.

The question is posed: Do we want to live in a caring world or do want to
live in a world of vested interests? We now have that choice. This is what
the transformation is really about. Wow!
