I hear ya Jester w/re to the refund. Usually by now we're gettin ours too but this yr has been a rare tax procrastination yr....still workin on gettin'em done....got the easy parts done a week or so ago...now I gotta do the real work w/all the rental report'n b4 I fire it all off to the accountant. Funny.....I put in ALL the #'s where they go & do most of everything else....then he looks'em all over...not sure what else he does other than charge the $600 & send'em out? lol
& of course he takes no responsibilty should the tax man come a knockin...tphhfftt!!! Which he never has thankfully.
Yeah....usually our refund takes care of 50% of the prop taxes so that's why I get'em in early...so we have the refund by early April at the latest...tho this yr Arnie was threatening refund IOU's & quite frankly, I was a believer that was gonna be happen'n so I figured, no rush this yr. We'll much to my (happy) surprise they finally did ink a state budget.
OK....back to "work" for me...as much as one can get done w/the ankle bitter run'n amuck. :0
Once the mrkt winds down for the week I'll return a lil later on & fill the place up w/a few rants ala Worn & even give ya the non profit update/skinny.
In short, I (we) hope to be on a real honst to goodness VC server later on today...this outfit has offered my venture free web hosting & support/consulting. Of course by being on a VC server we'll be able to have more professional lookin email addys....instead of the cheesy hotmail addy we have I'll be able to have a .org addy w/my name in it...good stuff.
Hopefully they'll (Ocean Eclipse) will also come thru w/round 1 of a lil seed $$$ in a few mos. Tho of course since the mrkts are in the crapper OEV is a lil timid right now to throw any $$$ our way..or anywhere's else for dat maddah. So even tho I'm a Chick'n Lil Doom 'n Gloomer, u know me, I am a rootin BIG TIME for camp Obama ta do SOMETHING....ANYTHING & PRONTO!!!
OK...havin said that...back to 4x & all things finance.....& speakin of which.....what's da 10-20 (aint that the location call?) on da' feline roady? Hope all's been well on that front.....guess maybe I should go take a gander at the GT site for any recent update(s).
