Mexico's Number One Security Provider Selects NavStar's Fleet Management System (FMS)


NavStar and Grupo Diamante Start Field Trial in Mexico

ANAHEIM, CA, Dec 01, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- NavStar Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NVSR) announced today that it has been selected to provide asset tracking equipment for a field trial with Grupo Diamante, Mexico's number one security provider. NavStar will partner with Grupo Diamante to provide equipment, software and related services for the trial. A purchase order for the first 100 units has been shipped, and the trial is expected to last for two months.
The NavStar Fleet Management System will allow Grupo Diamante to track assets, and provide security and risk mitigation service solutions for wireless operators, insurance companies and security companies across Mexico.

Grupo Diamante has had a long term relationship with NavStar Technologies, and this initial purchase order is the first step toward the purchase of 10,000 units in the next 12 months. The potential revenue from this deal is $2.0M.
