They sold around my buy order!!

I had an order sitting in the system to buy at a price. They sold right down next to it. And then I guess some dolt figured out a way to sell at the bid on a limit order pinning the bid price down lower than my order. That's a pretty obvious case there. I'm not sure what it means. Someone is bound and determined to pin the bid. The order between the bid and the ask was ignored.

Now the ASK is below my bid for the shares but I've already pulled the order. Not liking it at all. On the other hand I can buy the shares cheaper. So it works out well for me.

But there was a very long pause where the makers just wouldn't sell to me. My order had some size and my price wasn't bad. I just spit the bid and they had other plans. They'll get me a better price later in the day maybe??
