carrot. Nice post. I have been with BSTI just a little over 5 months and a little less in the BB. I can have great sympathy for a person that may be having a hard time coping with losses. Just happened to be reviewing my investment history from way back. I've had big gains, great missed opportunities, but in the bottomline my losses over the years have out numbered my gains. Most of the losses and lost opportunities came from getting spooked in minor dips. However, I also lost on several occasions by holding to the bitter end, i.e., the old Savin Corporation, Piezo Electric, and BioGas of Colorado. BioGas of Colorado seemed to have all the potential in the world at the time, somewhat as some of us see BSTI.
I am holding on to BSTI for the year on the premise that 1) it has the potential to go up, 2) it appears that a capital loss would give me greater recovery than selling at this point. Until then, I'll keep an eye, try to learn, and yes enjoy the situation.
