No that's how they do it. MMs take it down to clear bids and that gets retail to put up sells on the ask like these schleps on ETRD and HDSN that want .3070 and .30 because it was just .26. Then they come in and buy up all sellers to gain more shares that wouldn't have been there otherwise.
