Florida State Material Building Commission Approval of LeepCore
Friday May 21, 7:45 am ET
CHICAGO, May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Leading-Edge Earth Products, Inc. (Pink Sheets: LEEP - News), reported today the Florida Building Commission's 4/20/04 statewide approval of the Company's LeepCore(TM); structural building material has resulted in immediate action from modular and design/build firms specializing in Educational, Medical and Correctional facilities. LEEP is currently working with a key Florida Design/Build firm to develop "fast-track" construction solutions using LeepCore(TM) in Educational Facilities. Applications include: classroom additions for public schools and building structures for complete campuses for charter schools. Due to recent classroom size reduction legislation, Florida is requiring thousands of new classrooms over the next five years. Florida's largest modular classroom manufacturer is now accepting orders for LeepCore(TM) "next-generation" classrooms as well as integrating LeepCore(TM) into their classroom roof systems. LeepCore(TM) replaces expensive steel members in traditional modular-classroom roof construction. Grant Record, LEEP's CEO says, "In addition to being a superior material for modular and site-built construction, LeepCore(TM) is now seen as a solution to mold, rot and mildew problems currently plaguing Florida's schools (See http://www.b-tv.com/i/videos/leepinc.wmv for further clarification)."

Florida Educational Facilities is the first major market developed by LEEP. Based on current response from this market, LEEP's current manufacturing capacity has been overwhelmed. LEEP is seeking debt and equity capital to expand its present manufacturing production capacity and to construct a new LeepCore(TM) manufacturing plant. The planned new plant is designed to produce in excess of 25 million-square-feet of LeepCore(TM) product per year.
