There are a significant number of drivers available in the
pre-release version of Windows 64 for most of the consumer
and a fair amount of the business class printers. I was
surprised to find drivers for all of my printers (3 of them)
included.

Now if they would only fix the parallel port issue it would
really be nice. I don't know is it has been fixed in any of
the releases after the initial public beta.

We have assembled a number of test servers and workstations
with Athlon 64's and Opterons using Windows 64 Professional and Server and have good success at locating the necessary
drivers using the internet. I suspect the driver issue will
be a non-event at full product launch for 75% of the users.

Just my observations and MHO.

Out the LAN card, down the cable, through the router,
out the gateway, to the ISP...nothin' but net!
