EF,

I agree regarding back month meat, the further back the better I think...its a play on the story, rather than a trading opportunity...the story could take a while to play out so the more time till contract maturity the better.

Same thougts with Sugar, looking historically, I cant help but feel that the current commodities bull run will see sugar break its all time of high of 66c (especially with a 2 new demand sources that didnt exist back then...ethanol and china). From 1966 to 1974 the price of ugar went up 45 times from 1.4c to 66.5c. The other wildcard in the sugar story are the ridiculous subsidies given to western producers, if these are removed, then sugar can trade freely and the only way is up in my opinion...got any sugar EF?..waiting for a pullback myself...

Also do you like any of the metals, or just softs?...noone wants to touch zinc and nickel at the moment, so was thinking an opportunity might be in the making. Having travelled to india many times I know every kitchen uses so much stainless steel (nickel)...they dont like crockery, or glass, or ceramics in their kitchens...they love stainless steel!
