Coolweb Search(CWS) is a Trojan/hijacker.

It is the one you are hearing about that is disabling Spybot and Adaware. They are also attempting to put Computer Cops (their biggest enemy) out of business with regular DNS attacks.

It is becomming more and more prevelant on the internet and even Google is using it.

It is used by companies like Netflix to cause you to see Netflix ads when you log on to the Gamz-N-flix site.
