I went on record earlier today as saying that I believe the JV partner will be Shell. [Note: Again, as it stands now, I do not know this to be true for a fact.] But, as I have been saying here, I believe the DD to be sound, and I am adding things up and coming to my best conclusion.

-Shell establishing the Magnolia prospect just to the east of us.

-Rumor [Note for emphasis: Rumor] of Shell opening an office in Many, Louisiana. GCOG's Saratoga prospect is just north of Many.

-Shell drilling a vertical well on the southern border of Sabine parish with excellent results

-If it is not with Shell, then it will be with another big company. Surely, Rahim knows what he is sitting on with the Saratoga prospect. Heck, GCOG knew it was a highly sought after piece of land back in 2005 when they first acquired the lease. They know about today's oil and gas prices. They know about the Haynesville Shale discovery. They know about the "land grab" going on.
In my opinion [Note for emphasis: opinion] this and the 8k filing all add up to, like you said yourself, a deal with a BIG JV partner.

Here is what I believe we have to look forward to:

- a PR announcing the renewal of the leases

- a PR announcing a JV with a BIG company

- anticipation for production to begin

- and then...PRODUCTION!!!


Up to 4 wells on the Saratoga prospect = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$


By the way, nice work by everyone lately contributing with DD, thoughts, knowledge, etc.
