larrybaz, I agree rather wholeheartedly with your thought on analyst recommended stocks (VMC post) and even stocks recommended by others in general. They seem to be more pump n dump type things where if you're good with timing they can work out well short term. But I'm too much a buy and mold type most of the time to be successful timing moves.
Just wish I could find more buy and mold material.

Must admit though since getting to VMC board, guys like SSKILLZ and many others have rubbed off on me a bit more with trading. I'm just not nearly as 'skilled' at it than most so it is tougher for me and I tend to do worse than most doing it.

I'll have to read the book:)
