In Germany (who is kicking our ass right now) where gas is 3-4 times more expensive than the U.S., if you don't take your own bags to the supermarket (usually cotton), they charge you .25 per plastic bag (which are made with petroleum). Europeans also have a system of reusable refundable glass bottles instead of our retarded petroleum cancer plastic version.
Instead of drilling more as the first solution why don't we stop being ruthless and pass some bills to conserve instead of ruining everything? Because we're greedy fux. Our 150 lb. overweight fat ass soccer moms need to drive their hummers to Costco to buy (10) 2 liter jugs of sugary sodas every week.
