Munida rugosa - From the family Galatheidae, the carapace is a bright orange, up to 30mm. The eyes are large and prominent. The chelipeds are more than twice the size of the carapace making this the largest of the shallow water squat lobsters. Found in shallow sublittoral to 50m.
