In addition to all the other irreparable harm that has been caused, what about the real fact that IDCC is a small company who has been owned for the most part by individual investors, many of which invested large percentages of their assets into this company under the belief that it would be protected by our judicial system. Many of those investors dreams and hopes of early or secure retirements have been squashed by the legal tactics of Nokia. Many individuals invested years and decades ago and as many can attest, many have died waiting on the judicial system to protect our investment. I would think being able to argue death as irreparable harm is the definition of irreparable harm.

Catchnrel, you're right, but it goes way beyond just that. There is a concept called lost opportunity cost. What about the other uses IDCC could have had for the money owed them by NOK and others over the past 9 years? What about strategic aquisitions that could have added substantial shareholder value? There are many ways IDCC could have put that money to work over the years that would have generated much more than simple interest on amounts owed.
