oil & gas is where its at. until we start to wean ourselves off of it at least.
Chavez & our major oil co's are in a legal battle over back $'s. The majors will win the court battle this year (freezing Chavez' assets where we can) and Chavez will cut off our oil supply (thats what he told Bush anyway).
The oil cartel will topple that nut before they leave the White House. That supply (Citco) has to be open.
The Southwest U.S. is almost recession proof because of this oil & gas boom. I know east Tx is anyway.
