Joe wasn't really lying in the press release, he just wasn't telling the full truth. If you read closely, it is clear that Joe submitted some form of finanical document, which was attached to the document posted on the pinks. However, these financials were not audited as promised.

I've quoted the relevant portion below:

"Accountant Financial statements and disclosures were compiled by an outside accountant based on managements’ representations. A compilation is limited to presenting in the form of financial statements information that is the representation of management. The accountant did not perform an audit or review of the information. Management of Green Energy Resources is solely responsible for all amounts, disclosures and presentation in the financial statements.
