Then 90nm is shipping NOW into the server market?
The whole debate started about the gap between Intel and AMD shipping 90nm into the server market. It sounds like Intel is shipping some 90nm product into the server market today with the prescott.
Even though 2P opteron does very well in many server benchmarks, there are still benchmarks that are won by 2P Xeon. Linpack, used to measure performance for the top500, and specint_rate are two examples.
