I read up a little on NITE & they have a good FAQ on their website as to why MM's are essential to provide liquidity for stock, etc. It is actually good to have them if they do their job correctly. And I'm not in any position to say if they are or aren't, but at least I can tell they are doing very well for themselves in their own NITE stock lately.
