kodiak RIGHT ON, i've recieved similar responses from etrade on BCIT in the past. months ago i requested a small % of my certs which they can't deliver obviously. i have a cash account with etrade AND bcit is held in street name. if etrade can't deliver certs to me on a CASH ACCOUNT then they sold me air shares-straight out.
i've reported them to my AG and the SEC on this and told them so this morning in an email. in Jan. 08' we should start proceedings against'em. i believe we could bury these air share selling brokers with all the emails/communications we've had with'em as of late.
