I have anti-virus software, spy searcher programs and 2 different pop-up programs & I breeze throught the net. If you are slow, the best thing to do is run disk deframgmenter. Most often the reason a system is running slow is because the system has to do extra work looking through unneeded bits of info or unattached bits of info.
Often when a person downloads programs and then deletes them, or even just looks at a page with graphics, there are leftover chunks of a data associated with those programs or pages you still have. Also chucks of data spread out throught your computer system for things you are still running. will combine the Because the computer needs to find these bits, it slows everything down.
Disk Degrag will eliminate the left over un-needed bits
& will put the split ones back together, speeding up your system. Also a good idea is to run a program that eliminates duplicated bits of data, as well as a spy searcher program, such as the free download SpySweeper, a free download found at
http://www.webroot.com
to eliminate the bits of spyware that accumulate for being on the net.
