Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD)

This is my first attempt to post a message here or elsewhere, so if I do not conform to proper protocol or etiquite please bear with me.

In the interest of full and fair disclosure, I am a stock broker and private investor. My clients and I have a substantial long position in AMD which we have been buying for about 18 months.

I came across the Investorshub site a few weeks ago and have read most of the posts since then (due dilligence and self interest/defense). I find the dialogue informative and useful, and would like to thank the contributors for sharing their knowledge and opinions.

I have limited knowledge of the technical issues in play here, so have nothing to contribute to that aspect of the discussions. I do have experience in investing, so will offer an observation to some posters who occasionally express frustration with 'the street' over its inability or unwillingness to recognise AMD and its achievements -- thank them for it. It is this myopia that creates the investment opportunity that AMD appears to offer.
