Unique Two-Way Broadcast Interface Enables Users to Broadcast Live and Pre-recorded Videos in Chat-Based Communities

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Broadcaster, Inc. (OTCBB: BCAS - News) has released its free Social Video Network - a two-way interactive video and chat interface and community-building tool - which the company predicts will be the next evolutionary step in online social communication. This new video paradigm complements Broadcaster's existing interactive community.

Broadcaster Social Video Network enables users to communicate with one another through a two-way webcam interface that provides the users with interactive broadcast controls. Users can choose to broadcast their live webcam feed or pre-recorded video playlists, broadcasting one-to-one or one-to-many.

"This is the ultimate form of online social interaction and instant communication that combines the most popular aspects of social networking with our technologies," said Martin Wade, CEO of Broadcaster, Inc. "Whether you simply like to 'people watch' or want to showcase your talents as an artist or performer, our Social Video Network makes that all possible, and the quality of the video feed is amazing."

The multi-view interface features three separate broadcast windows and text chat. The first window shows the feed that the user is broadcasting, the second window shows the people that the user has selected to view, and the third window shows the people watching the user that is broadcasting. Users can also navigate from a list that shows all active community members.

Anyone can join the Social Video Network and interact with or without a webcam.

"For those community members who don't have a webcam we provide a free tool called StudioPRO that allows them to broadcast a collection or playlist of their personal video files in place of a live webcam feed," explained Wade. "StudioPRO helps a user instantly become their own thematic broadcast channel. Whether they are discussing political views or showing videos from their summer vacation, Broadcaster helps them find their audience."

User controls within the Social Video Network enable the monitoring of all audio levels, the ability to add friends, add favorites, ignore or report users, as well as the ability to engage in private chat mode.

Broadcaster is currently developing backend technology so that users can easily integrate their Live Social Video Network broadcast feed into their personal websites or other social networks, such as Facebook, by using Broadcaster's simple embed code. In addition, Broadcaster expects to integrate this technology into broadcaster.com, mobile phones and other portable devices making Broadcaster the dominate Social Video networking solution.
